A-12 MyLion Service Reporting Contest
To encourage clubs to report service, the Global Action Team is pleased to announce the A-12 MyLion Service Reporting Contest. Simply report a hands-on service project, a donation, or a fundraiser event on MyLion and receive a ballot. One ballot per month for reporting that month.
Contest runs from December 1 to May 31,2021. Service reported for December, January and February is still eligible. Random draw of all the eligible ballots. Cash prize of $200 for your club’s administration account.

World Diabetes Day is November 14th. To support Clubs and your efforts to raise awareness this month, this poster was created as a resource by #LionsofCanada. Lets get it circulating.
EVENT **District Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 14th ** at 10am Due to the ongoing COVID 19 restrictions limiting gathering sizes. This LIVE event following all physical distancing protocols will be attended and directed by PDG Jim Hilt. Along with DG Jamie Jones, DGE Peter Shelswell , 1VDG John Jackson. PDG Chris Lewis providing technical support.

A-12 Lions have been out delivering “grab & go” snacks and refreshments, in partnership with McDonald’s Restaurants to front line healthcare workers in nursing homes all across our district. Our way to show appreciation and support during the COVID-19 crisis . This service project has been possible with funds made available by an emergency grant to our district from Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) . #WeServe

Information will be forthcoming soon about our LCIF Emergency Grant to support front-line health care workers. Your Zone Chairs are coordinating the efforts in each of the zones and will be looking for your club’s help and participation.
Canadian Lions Worldwide Induction
The last Saturday in April is Lions Worldwide Induction Day where we celebrate our newest Lions. This year, the Canadian Global Action Team is moving this event online where we welcome our new Canadian Lions to the greatest service organization in the world. The event will be on Saturday, April 25th at 430pm EDT. Share the registration link with your new members, their sponsors and any interested Lions. We have special guests joining us during the webinar who will make their induction a memorable one.

The new Baxter Ward Lions club had a Charter Night Celebration scheduled for April 18th, but unfortunately this pesky virus got in the way. But it’s not stopping the celebration – we’re moving it online! Register today for the Virtual Charter Celebration being held April 18th at 2pm!
